Abstract

This paper delves into the realm of supply chain management (SCM) innovations and their pivotal role in enhancing efficiency, resilience, and sustainability within the context of global supply networks. In an era of increased globalization and interconnectedness, effective SCM has become a critical success factor for businesses across industries.

 

The research begins by defining the scope and significance of SCM within the broader business landscape. It recognizes that modern supply chains are complex, dynamic, and vulnerable to disruptions, necessitating constant innovation.

 

One central theme of the study is the examination of innovations in SCM that contribute to improved efficiency. It explores the adoption of technologies such as blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) for real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and streamlined logistics.

 

Furthermore, the study delves into the concept of supply chain resilience. It addresses the challenges posed by global disruptions, including natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, and pandemics, and explores strategies for building resilient supply chains through diversification, redundancy, and risk management.

 

Through an analysis of case studies and industry best practices, the paper identifies innovative approaches to achieving supply chain sustainability. It discusses the integration of sustainable practices, circular economy principles, and responsible sourcing in SCM.
